Mural proposal for the proton beam therapy unit at The Christie, Manchester. This project was in collaboration with the Tim Bacon Foundation and The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. The design focuses on three primary themes: hope, progress and memory, and is built around the idea of using gardening and ecosystems as a visual metaphor for the multitudes of people who are part of cancer care and patient recovery. Each element of the design is imbued with meaning, from use of suffragette motifs to including the language of flowers and stylisations of proton beam therapy.
